Arts, History and Culture
Bentota is home to a number of historic temples, most significantly the Galapatha Raja Maha Viharaya.

The city also boasts proximity to Lunuganga Estate and The Brief Gardens which were designed and lived in by Geoffrey and Bevis Bawa, renowned architects of their time.
